Installation

Experienced UFH installation teams, managed by Tomlin Heatworks throughout. We work to your programme sequence — plot by plot, floor by floor — with clear communication at every stage.

Testing

Hydraulic pressure testing is carried out on every circuit before screed is poured, with written certification provided. We don't release a floor for screeding until it's tested and signed off.

  • Hydraulic pressure testing to 6 bar
  • Pressure test certificates for every circuit
  • Pre-screed sign-off and photographic records
  • Air pressure testing where water is not permitted
  • Interim inspections at agreed programme milestones

Commissioning & Handover

The final stage — system balancing, controls set-up and the documentation that makes the building work for the end user and protects you at handover.

Each circuit balanced to achieve design flow rates across all zones — essential for heat pump efficiency and occupant comfort.

Controls Set-Up

Thermostats, actuators and control panels configured and tested, ready for handover to the building management system.

Handover Documentation

Commissioning records, pressure test certificates, as-installed drawings and O&M manuals — everything your client and warranty provider needs.

Heat pump commissioning

Our commissioning process is aligned with heat pump system requirements — correct flow temperatures, balanced circuits and verified controls set-up give the heat source the best chance of performing to design.
