Services
From heat loss calculations and layout drawings through to commissioning and handover documentation — one specialist subcontractor throughout.
01
Every Tomlin Heatworks project begins with a fully engineered design — produced in-house, coordinated with your mechanical drawings and ready for issue with the tender package.
For confirmed live tender opportunities, we offer heat loss calculations and indicative layouts at no charge — helping you win the job before the UFH package is even priced.

We source all materials from leading manufacturers — Polypipe, Uponor, Wavin and REHAU — and supply them as part of a complete package, phased to your programme and delivered direct to site.
03
Experienced UFH installation teams, managed by Tomlin Heatworks throughout. We work to your programme sequence — plot by plot, floor by floor — with clear communication at every stage.
04
Hydraulic pressure testing is carried out on every circuit before screed is poured, with written certification provided. We don't release a floor for screeding until it's tested and signed off.
05
The final stage — system balancing, controls set-up and the documentation that makes the building work for the end user and protects you at handover.
Each circuit balanced to achieve design flow rates across all zones — essential for heat pump efficiency and occupant comfort.
Thermostats, actuators and control panels configured and tested, ready for handover to the building management system.
Commissioning records, pressure test certificates, as-installed drawings and O&M manuals — everything your client and warranty provider needs.
Our commissioning process is aligned with heat pump system requirements — correct flow temperatures, balanced circuits and verified controls set-up give the heat source the best chance of performing to design.
